Potter

I haven't written about Potter and friend in a while.

I visited him yesterday. They sold the digs in the city and bought some land just outside of town. Great big house that needs a bunch of work, seven acres of land that needs even more work, but they've got what they wanted.

Potter and friend are ambitious folks; creative at things. Potter, obviously has skills with the clay. Fantastic skills at that. Plus, he plans to build an out building for the numerous wheels and kilns he has.

Friend is equally skilled but landscape and domestic skills dominate in her life. Down near where the driveway meets the road, she's putting in a desert themed garden to make the house really stand out to people looking for the house. That'll help a lot.

Potter helped me through some serious shit a while back, and I'll owe him big time for that. SLPTG doesn't think too highly of Potter, but that's her problem. It's got more to do with things Potter has said/done to her friends than her, but nonetheless SLPTG is not a big fan.

It was nice to have (most of) a day to just do meaningless stuff, hang out with Potter, take the long way home from there, etc. It was a nice day.
